jan 5,2008

My baby girl turned 8 today! I bet I weigh more than I did when I delivered her. I know I was at close to 200 a couple of days before she was born and I know that right now I am over 200.
I started out with WW in April at 222. I am sure I am back there or close.
I let me eating go and everything else too. I have done nothing. I started back counting my points on the first and I will be attending a meeting this week. Tomorrow I can pay for the monthly pass , so I will be good for the first month. Not sure about Sheryl, she says she is going we'll see.

First goal, being able to zip up those size 14 jeans, I have a pair of Levis with tags on and a pair of
Gap that I can not zip. I will be into those jeans on Feb 5,2009, standing up and zipping no need to lay on the bed!

Have to be careful with my back it hurts just to think about exercise . Damn repoted disc.

Back pain and weight loss dont mix well

So I am up 4.6 from last week. I have a pulled muscle in my back and cant exercise, walking is painful . The first part of the week was bad, so I saw the doctor on Tuesday. So I got some pain pills and muscle relaxers. I am better now, but I pretty much ate crap this week, so up went the weight and so did the need for more insulin.
Lets see more food+more insulin = weight gain

My back is starting to feel better, I am able to walk without crying ouch in every step and watching my food intake. So next week will be better.

Gold Star

I got my first 5 pound lost gold star last night at weigh in. I am down 5.4 from my starting weight of 222.4.

I had a high blood sugar/ ketone issue this week and thought that a trip to the ER was in my future. It took alot of insulin and patiance but it finally came down and ER was avoided.
A bad set caused this one. I bolused when I tested and was over 500, so the insulin I took earlier must not have did anything if I got any of it, so I then noticed that there was a wet spot on my pocket, so the insulin was leaking out. Changed out the set and took a shot to make sure the insulin was there and tested alot.

Diabetes sure is a challenge some days.

Weigh In

Ok , weigh in was tonight and I am up 1.4 from last week, need to watch what I am eating and not snack as much, TTOM is here and I figure that is the reason, I am really feeling puffy this week, that is the only way to describe it,lol

I am back on track and will have a different result next week.

Almost a free fall

I stayed on point all weekend, but still ate to much junk.
I had more Dr Pepper that I should have , so I hope I dont have a gain this week.
I need to get moving.
We get a free health club membership thru our insurnace at work, so I am going to check out the 24 HR Fitness across the street and see what I get. It is close enough that I can go at lunch and at least walk on the treadmill and maybe I can go and swim laps after work sometimes.

Ice Cream Cake is evil

We had a birthday celbration at work yesterday. Sandwhiches, chips and dip and ICECREAM ( at least 10 points cake)
I ate one sandwhich with mustard, lots of green leaf lettuce and tomatos. That was ok.
The chips were 5 points and then 10 for the cake, so by the end of the day I was 13 points over and into the extra points.

I am doing good today though, so back on track .

First week weigh in an I have lost 2.4 pounds so that puts me at 220.

Staying within my points and do good . I have been reducing my insulin, since I am not

drinking that much regular soda or eating as much junk, I have been having a problem with lows, so lots of testing. My TDD of insulin has dropped by about 15 u and may need to be lowered a little bit more to combat these lows.
